Les Volcans, à Clermont-Ferrand, ne présente pas seulement la particularité d’être géré sous forme de SCOP (société coopérative et associative, soit une SARL dans laquelle les salariés sont majoritaires et exercent le pouvoir démocratiquement). C’est aussi l’une des quelques librairies françaises à s’être récemment dotées d’un café pour mieux accueillir ses clients. Ce nouveau modèle constitue-t-il l’avenir de la distribution du livre ? Début de réponse avec Nadine Barbecot, responsable du rayon littérature des Volcans, qui a bien voulu nous en dire plus ce qu’ont apporté ces initiatives.
